Get Inolved in Swear Jar Jamboree 2026
Submit Your Act
Swear Jar Jamboree 2026 submissions are now closed!
First and foremost, thank you all for the absolutely overwhelming outpouring of interest. We received submissions not only from Philly performers, but from artists all across the country and even internationally. The response honestly exceeded anything we imagined for our second year.
If you submitted, you should have received a response from us. Our biggest challenge this year was simply selecting talent. There were so many incredible acts we wanted to say “yes” to, but only so many time slots available throughout the festival.
We are unbelievably grateful to everyone who submitted, shared the fest, and believed in what we’re building. Swear Jar Jamboree continues to grow because of this amazing comedy community.
Thank you again, and we hope you’ll check back in 2027 to submit for next year’s fest!
Lead A Workshop
Workshop submissions are also now officially closed!
A huge thank you to everyone who submitted ideas, classes, and creative learning experiences for this year’s fest. We were thrilled by the variety of workshops proposed, ranging from improv and sketch to clown, performance theory, experimental comedy, and beyond. The passion and creativity behind these submissions made the selection process incredibly difficult in the best possible way.
One of the things we love most about Swear Jar Jamboree is creating space not just for performances, but for artists to share knowledge, challenge each other, and explore new ideas together. We are always looking for fresh, weird, insightful, and exciting workshops that push comedy and live performance in new directions.
So if you didn’t make it in this year, or if you’re already cooking up something new, start thinking about 2027. We can’t wait to see what you bring next year.
Become a Volunteer
Want to help make the chaos happen?
Volunteer applications for Swear Jar Jamboree 2026 are now open! As the festival continues to grow from a one-day birthday show into a four-day comedy celebration, we’re looking for awesome humans to help us bring it all to life.
Volunteers are a huge part of what makes this fest possible. Whether you’re helping with front of house, workshops, performer support, tech, setup, strike, or just jumping in wherever needed most, you’ll be directly helping create an unforgettable experience for artists and audiences alike.
This is a great opportunity to meet performers from Philly and beyond, connect with the comedy community, get behind-the-scenes festival experience, and be part of something weird, welcoming, and genuinely special. No prior festival experience required. Just bring good energy, flexibility, and a willingness to help. Come celebrate comedy with us, make some new friends, and help us throw one hell of a birthday party.
